These products have a high rate of repeat buyers, great margins, and surprisingly not a lot of competition. These products are going to do more volume on eBay, however the margins are going to be higher on Amazon as the products seem to sell for much more money on that platform.

Are you an Amazon Affiliate? Are you frusted that you get a lot of clicks on your ads but nobody ever buys? Amazon now gives you a chance to be paid per impression as opposed to paid per click. This is more similar to Adsense and a CPC program or a cost per impression program than it is a CPA or cost per action program like the Amazon Affiliate program used to be like where someone actually had to make a purchase for you to be paid.
Depending upon the type of site you have, the niche your in, and the behavior of your buyers you may do better with a cost per impression payment plan than you would with a CPA or cost per action. Keep in mind you won't be paid nearly as much for impressions but if you have a lot of traffic and if your someone who's traffic typically doesn't convert well you may be better off being paid per impression.
